Rainy Windows

By- Sahil Khan

These sea waves bully me When I write us on sand The goldsmith leaves it permanently On my silver wedding band Rainy windows give me yet another chance To turn my index into an Egyptian pen It's time when I draw a round smile That lasts for another short while Isn't it a beautiful thing To disclose my secrets to the world that sings As short-lived impressions left behind Unlike Wordsworth's whom I read last Spring
