Creation of a platform from which one can voice their words and opinions was a crucial gap I had seen in my time at AMU. Many attempts by different organisations and clubs were made but to no fruition or success due to various obstacles. I saw this Sisyphean challenge as one that needed an all round solution, to create a website where students of the University and across India could publish various forms of their write-ups and be given this in-house opportunity to publish from and start their writing career or add to the ongoing discourse. I faced all those seemingly insurmountable obstacles as were faced by others, but with a dedicated, passionate and unparalleled team along with collaboration from students of Engineering, we were able to overcome it all. And so, here is the product of a vision realised, and an attempt to give back to a University which has given me more than I had ever imagined. I hope this website serves to the benefit of all students to come, for all of time.

One aspect of literature is to acknowledge the various perspectives that exist around us. Often, literature also helps an individual transcend mental and physical confinements. Thus, this website provides an equal and unprejudiced platform, keeping in view the need to have a perspective different than ours. Also, it provides an opportunity for the voices to be heard that remain disfavored. Hearing is one of the most precious gifts one can give to others. The website has been developed with love and a vision which is to help people in awakening their artistic side and compel them to become better versions of themselves.

Being a part of this initiative has been a uniquely enriching experience. The website is a product of hours upon hours of cumulative effort, creative vision, and a dedication that could only have come through with this specific group of people. The three of us are honoured for having been entrusted with the mantle of public relations, and have attempted to give the very best of our dedication and abilities to this endeavour, from Sidrah Noor handling all the design aspects to Tuhel Ahmed and I utilising our content creation expertise.

For the very first time, we, the students from the College of Engineering, AMU got an opportunity to collaborate with Raleigh Literary Society of the Department of English, AMU. The first of its kind, this kind of a collaborative effort has no previous example and is the first of its kind in terms of interdisciplinary effort that transcends boundaries not only across arts and social sciences but also now to sciences. Such a great team and visionary leaders were able to infuse us with the enthusiasm to come aboard this project. We were able to splash our expertise in technology into the spectrum of Art and Creativity in developing this website. Back-end development, integration and admin controls were under the supervision of Syed Hassanul Haque, while the work of front-end development and user interface creation along with back-end integration was shouldered by Mohd Tanveer Hasan.
